Economical Way to Get Rid of Fleas

You can add brewers yeast, powder form sold at health food stores, in their wet food, some spoonful each dog, each meal. I've used Boraxo powder, sprinkle it on carpets, tiles, and leave on for several hours, then vacuum or clean up. If using a vacuum, put on a new bag each time, as fleas live in a dark, warm area.

You can also put out saucers full of water behind areas where animals can't use and fleas will jump into the water, use white saucers or low bowls. Get used to doing this each week, it's a never ending battle! (06/16/2010)
