Be Prepared For A Kitchen Fire
It has been three years ago this month I had a kitchen fire and panicked. When the fire got out of hand, all I could think about was calling 911 and getting my dog and myself out of the house. We had extensive fire damage to the kitchen and extensive smoke damage to the entire house. We were out of our house for three months.

We had a small fire in our living room - a wooden shelf smoldered for several hours and the room filled with smoke. It now smells dreadful.

Smoke Odors From a House Fire on Furniture
After a recent house fire, a family member found all the clothing and furniture worth salvaging reeked of smoke odor. This is much worse than cigarette odor, or stove fire odor and seems to creep out into a room.

Smoke Smell on Belongings After a House Fire
My house burned down this past Sunday but we have been able to salvage some stuff, but obviously it smelles horrible are there any suggestions on how in the world to get smells out of matresses, a dress that can not be drycleaned, books, photos, etc.

Smoke Smell (from a fire) on Vinyl Windowe
We had a bad fire with a lot of smoke and can't get the smell out of our vinyl windows. Does anyone have any advice?
