Drying Out Flooded Carpet
I have flood damage to my carpeted floor and need advice. I fell asleep while running a bath and the tub ran over for about an hour, the carpeted floor ended up being flooded by almost 2 inches.

Mildew Smell Coming From Under Our Mobile Home After Flooding
We recently had a bad rain fall and had a little flood of about 6 inches. We live in a trailer park where many of the trailers got flooded about six inches or so. A couple days after the rain had dried up we began to smell mildew or a mold like scent.

Salvaging Flooded Sewing Machines
Most damage to flooded sewing machines is caused by rust. Even if the machine was not submerged, check for rust caused by general dampness. Rust develops quickly on highly polished, machined or plated surfaces.
