Lessons Learned from Hurricane Dolly
Having just survived Hurricane Dolly, I discovered a couple of things we should do to be prepared if we have to evacuate. Of course pictures/inventory of all your belongings is important and should be put on disc, which I have been lax in doing.

Buy a Generator for Hurricane Season
We moved from FL to WV in Jan 06 after going through 2 terrible hurricane seasons. One tip I can offer is to get a generator if you can afford it (buy it in off season) It will save a lot of heat and discomfort if you are forced to stay inside without electricity for an extended period of time. . .

After Hurricane Katrina, My Whole Lawn is Weeds
I need help with my lawn! What Hurricane Katrina didn't kill with salt water flooding, the heat and drought afterward did it in. All of my azaleas are dead so I'll have to replant those but my entire lawn is pretty much weeds now.

Medical Help For Hurricane Katrina Pets
My toy poodle and I evacuated from New Orleans with very little resources. My dog is showing ill signs of constipation, shiverings, and blood in his stool. I cannot afford and do not have any knowledge of any vets clinic that are willing to see to my Ko Ko. Receiving medical attention free of charge will be one the best Christmas gift for me and defintely for ko ko.
