Lessons Learned from Hurricane Dolly
Having just survived Hurricane Dolly, I discovered a couple of things we should do to be prepared if we have to evacuate. Of course pictures/inventory of all your belongings is important and should be put on disc, which I have been lax in doing.

Buy a Generator for Hurricane Season
We moved from FL to WV in Jan 06 after going through 2 terrible hurricane seasons. One tip I can offer is to get a generator if you can afford it (buy it in off season) It will save a lot of heat and discomfort if you are forced to stay inside without electricity for an extended period of time. . .
