Finding Help To Repair a Well?

I have been without water for the past three weeks due to my well bursting. I live only on my disability and cannot even save up to fix my well. I live in Florida. Does anyone know where I might be able to turn or who will cover all costs of the repair?

Do you have homeowners insurance? Have you asked them if the well is covered?

Also, are you able to borrow against the house? I know that's probably the last thing to do, but think about it: If the county finds out you don't have clean water on the property, they may condemn the house and evict you. In that case the house would be no use to you.

I hope it gets sorted out. I assume you are borrowing or buying potable water. Don't put your health at risk by using water that is not safe for human consumption. A hospital bill is all you need on top of everything else.
