Recycled Aluminum Can for Flour Measuring
I make a lot of homemade bread so I buy flour in bulk. To make measuring easier I keep a mandarin orange can in my flour container. It measures 2 cups and has grooves inside at the 1/2 and 1 cup level.

Fresh Baked Bread Had Plastic-Like Taste
I just baked some bread last night using yeast and it had a funny plastic-like aftertaste sprinkled throughout the loaf. What could be the cause? I kneaded it by hand and baked it in the oven.

Line Brownie Pan With Aluminum Foil
Whenever you bake brownies or other baked items, line the pan you are using with heavy duty aluminum foil. When completely cool, carefully lift out; then pull foil away from sides. This makes it easy to cut and to lift out the pieces.

Savory Muffins
By Debra Frick
Now we all love warm sweet muffins, but there are a group of muffins that never get any recognition. They are called savory muffins because they are not sweet. They can be a herb muffin or one with vegetables instead of fruit.

Use Sugar to Dust Your Cake Pans
Try using sugar to dust your cake pans. This not only makes for a more moist cake, it makes clean up a breeze. The sugary residue in the pans melts quickly in warm water!
