I would like to know if a cooked pumpkin pie can be frozen? If so how long would you reheat when ready to use? I over cooked for Thanksgiving and hate to throw it away if I can use at a later date.

Preventing Soggy Pie Crust
I just took a homemade baked apple pie from the freezer. After cutting it I see that the bottom crust is soggy, as if not baked enough. It was thoroughly baked. How can I keep this from happening again? Especially when I want to do more fruit pies? Thanks for the help.

Tip for Pie Crusts and Pastries
Keep some butter or margarine in the freezer. When you make a pastry, grate the butter or margarine needed into the flour and salt mixture. Then, it will need just a little mixing before sprinkling on the water in sections.
