Using Oven to Cook Hamburgers
I just didn't have time to fry hamburgers one day. I decided to make hamburgers in a hurry. I mixed ground beef, chopped onions, some seasonings, yellow mustard and ketchup. I put in a chicken roaster making sure it was flat and the thickness of a hamburger patty.

Using Cooking Oil Spray
When cooking, I had a hard time getting the food off the pan. ie; biscuits,roasts, tator tots, etc. I got sick of the food looking terrible, and even coming off in pieces, so I tried a cooking spray on the pan first. It worked.

Disposing of Bacon and Cooking Grease
Need an easy way to dispose of leftover grease from frying? Empty your kitchen sink, and put a piece of wide tin foil in sink. Push tin foil into drain to make a little cup. Do not put any holes in tin foil, place 2 pieces of paper towel in on top.

Wooden Spoon to Keep Pot From Boiling Over
When boiling pasta, potatoes, or etc. just place a large wooden or metal spoon across the pot top. This stops liquid from boiling over onto stove. It has never failed me.

Oh So Easy Biscuits
My husband loves biscuits and before we were married 16 years ago, I had never baked biscuits. I experimented with many recipes and finally came up with this one that was very easy, turned out great every time and that my husband loved!

Keeping Pots From Boiling Over
Before boiling potatoes, pasta, or rice, rub margarine around the top inside of the pan to keep it from boiling over.

Keep Butter from Burning
Often while sauteing, my butter easily burns. To prevent this I add a small amount of oil to the mixture.

Drain Browned Ground Beef in a Colander
When using ground beef cooked for a soup, spaghetti or tacos etc., drain hamburger through a colander before adding to your soup recipe. This takes away the extra fat and tastes great, even in chili.
