Lightly spray your beaters with cooking spray. This helps to prevent batter from sticking on the beaters plus easier clean up.
I bake them in aluminum foil in our toaster oven. Most of the time I will need the toaster oven for something else so I have to remove the potatoes. I place the potatoes inside our insulated oven mitts, using a spring clothespin to keep the mitt closed.

I hate wasting water trying to wash my slimy, messy hands after mixing ingredients. So just before I turn the water on to wash, I take a paper towel or paper napkins and wipe off as much of the mess from my hands and under my finger nails.
Homemade Honey and Mustard Dressing
You can never scrape out every last bit from the bottom of a jar of honey. So my solution is to use the jar to mix some homemade salad dressing.
I buy heavy men's black socks at the Dollar Store, and cut above and below the heel leaving a "pocket" which easily slips onto a hot pot or skillet handle. Then, I use the cuff as pot holders to remove hot dishes from the microwave.
I often go to the local convenience store for a "no ice" fountain drink. When I come home, I transfer it to a smaller container with a lid that seals better. Once the lid is off the drink container, it can be clumsy to pour.

I don't know how long this has been going on, but I think it is pretty new. Today the sale adds for groceries came to the house. I saw that Starkist Tuna was on sale, 2 cans for $1.00. I know that this is a really good price now, so I planned on stocking up.

While working with special needs students/children, I've learned some quick and easy ways to cut their breakfast. I use a pair of clean scissors to make bite sized pieces.
Instead of using cling wrap to cover food or leftovers in the frig, I use a clear shower cap that has elastic. This can be washed and reused many times and is much easier to remove from containers than the clingwrap.Hope this helps.
Crush Sugar Cubes For Granulated Sugar
This might sound funny, but I will explain. Being a diabetic, I recently discovered that the sugar cubes are portion controlled and better for me than artificial sweeteners, which make me sick.
Freeze left over oil from the turkey fryer or other frying oils used. Place in a freezer-safe container and label. When you need oil later, let thaw and use. You can also freeze Crisco without any loss or change in quality.
