Save Bread Scraps for Holiday Dressing
Around June of every year, I always start saving bread scraps of all types for the holiday dressing (stuffing for our Northern friends). Example: leftover cornbread, biscuits, rolls, loaf bread, etc. This cuts waste and is always used.

Bake Bread in Juice Cans
When baking bread, I use the 48 oz juice cans, sprayed with cooking spray. Knead dough and put a ball of dough in the can filling it about 1/3 full. I bake 8 loaves at a time, and they all fit nicely in the oven.

Molasses Butter and Bread
Am I the only one that likes to eat Grandma's Molasses mixed with a teaspoon of butter, to dip a piece of bread in? My mom taught me that years ago, and said that during the war, sometimes that was all they had to eat for desert.

Making Raisin Bread in Bread Machine
I am having a problem making raisin bread in my bread machine. It's an old Breadmaster machine and I have no instruction book. If I add the raisins at the beginning of the cycle they just disappear into the dough.
