I find that it's nearly impossible to capture the "awe" of fireworks on the 4th of July because everyone is looking at the sky.

On the 4th, a friend brought over this Apple Pie, hot from the oven. How special for us. We had no plans for the 4th holiday as everyone was here for Memorial Day.

We had this arrangement of flowers and flags on the BBQ table for Memorial Day, and now we will use it for 4th of July. I change the centerpiece decorations for fall and Christmas. In the spring, I use pastel colors.
