Freezing Corn on the Cob

How do I freeze fresh corn on the cob?

After shucking the ear of corn, I wrap it in foil, and put in freezer. That's all. Since I live alone, I thaw one, wrap in paper towel and microwave a couple minutes. Handle carefully, hot to handle. (06/02/2010)

You can freeze it in the husks for a couple of months without losing flavor, but you need to pull the husks back, rinse off the corn (not husks), pat dry and replace the husks tightly. You don't need to, but you can wrap in foil after doing this.
