I have a Kenmore HE front load washer; it is 13 years old. Last night it would not spin or drain. I took the clothes out, unplugged it, replugged, and ran an empty load. It worked fine. I loaded clothes in and it wouldn't drain or spin. Is it fixable? Is is worth it?

The lifespan of washers, top or front loading, is about 14 years so you are on the home stretch. It is very difficult to tell what might be wrong from your description. You can request a service company assess the problem and cost for you and then decide on fixing or replacing.
