To keep deer out of your garden and eating your vegetables place white plastic grocery bags around the garden fence or on a pole. The wind blowing the bags will frighten the deer away.

We hang a bar of Irish Spring soap near our most "delicious" plants and the deer leave them alone. They don't like the smell of Irish Spring. We tried this trick for the first time last spring, and our 10 year old lilac bushes that had always been munched on finally had the chance to bloom! The deer even left the tulips alone.
