Bulbs Won't Bloom
Leaves yes, flowers no. Why don't my irises bloom? I have planted well over 35 bulbs in the last few years. Since we don't get a good freeze here, I stored the bulbs in the fridge for a few weeks before planting.

Transplanting Bulbs
I have tulips that are blooming at my grandmother house. We are selling the house. Can I take the bulbs now? And how do I do this?

Irises Aren't Blooming
Does mowing your Irises after they've bloomed cause them to not bloom again the next year? I'm not much of a gardener, which is probably obvious. We've had them planted for several years, and they bloomed pretty well for the first 2-3 years.

Starting A Bulb Garden
I would like to start a bulb garden. I live in New York, I believe it is in zone 7a. I really want to do as little work as possible because I have to help maintain 4 separate gardens. I would love to plant them and forget them. I would prefer hardy bulbs that I do not have to dig up to replant later on. It doesn't have to be just bulbs, any flowering plant that I will never have to replant will do.

What can I do with my forced bulbs?
I am in zone 7b. I received some forced bulbs for my birthday, and they were lovely; however, I'd like to know what my options are at this point since the hyacinth and the daffodil are through blooming, and soon the cala lilly will also be through.

Storing Flower Bulbs
I live in Maine and I recently bought about 150 bulbs at a really low price. Some of them are already starting to grow and I am asking what I have to do with them so they don't dry out and die.

Overwintering Bulbs, Tubers, and Rhizomes
Many plants store energy for next year's growth in tubers and rhizomes. The following plants can be stored over the winter in the same manner:
