Gargle with Salt Water to Minimize Gingivitis

Bronze Post Medal for All Time! 118 Posts

A spoonful of salt being placed inside a glass. We know that gingivitis is a mild form of gum disease. The first thing we notice is when we brush our teeth, our gums bleed. A tip that I can share with you to minimize this at home. Although you have to consult your doctor because if it gets worse, you could have major tooth loss.

Do this first thing in the morning before brushing your teeth and in the evening after brushing your teeth. Use this as a gargle: a half glass of lukewarm water and 1 teaspoon of rock salt. Mix together until the rock salt dissolves. Gargle it three times. It is a safe home aid for everyone in the family.
