Honestly I don't know, but someone told me today that rubbing baby oil into the coat and onto the skin of a dog repels mosquitoes.

So maybe you can try it for flies. I hope it works!

I would Google on the internet horse fly products and see if they are safe for dogs. Also flies like to attack a dog's ears, put Vaseline on the tips and on the ears and all around the tips.
I am going to check out horse fly sprays for the horses bodies and check to see if it is safe for peoples outside doggies.
