Gift Ideas for My Boyfriend?

I am new to this, but I have a question, and I need help as soon as possible! I am 16. My childhood best friend of all time asked me out on Wednesday and I was planning to get him something for our one week anniversary next Wednesday. This is also our last day before Christmas break. So this gift is doubling as a Christmas gift and a first week anniversary gift. I've already gotten him a blanket he has hinted he wants. But I want to give him something meaningful to go with it. Like something homemade or special to us. He is 15 (almost 16). He plays football and basketball. I manage our boys' basketball team. He means the world to me and I want this to show him how much he means to me and how happy he makes me. Thank you!
