| Special Craft Ideas For Baby Gift

Hi everyone! I just found out I'm going to be an Aunt for the first time. Woohoo! We live in Indiana and my brother and sister-in-law live in California. I want to make sure we are close to our niece/nephew despite the distance. Does anyone have any suggestions on neat crafts or anything like that we can share that will help our family feel closer? Thanks a lot!

| Quick and Easy Baby Gift
|

For a quick and easy and cheap baby gift, buy a package of cloth diapers, then personalize them by adding decorative ribbon. I have bought ribbon at Hobby Lobby for 10 cents a yard on clearance. If you do not sew, then apply heat n bond fusible to the back of the ribbon and simply iron on. This is a practical gift that any new (or not so new) Mom will love.

| Need Craft Gift Idea for One-Year-Old Girl

I've been invited to my one-year-old niece's birthday party in less than two weeks. I made a promise to myself that I would make ALL my gifts in 2005! So I need an idea for something I can make quickly. I have lots of craft supplies -- yarn, fabric, scrapbooking, paints, wooden plaques, polymer clay, plus all the basics.

| Crafting Advice For a New Baby Gift

Base your gift to the new baby on the month of the baby's birth. Crochet/knit/quilt/purchase a baby blanket in the color of the baby's birthstone, and include a package of seeds/bulbs for the birth month flower (a chart for both can be found on Hallmark's website).
