Craft Project: Wire Decorated Candles
For something a little more special than a plain candle, how about dressing one up a bit!
Craft Project: Dollar Bill Origami
The long known art of origami has always seemed sort of mysterious to me so I decided to learn a few simple shapes to give to my grandchildren in their Easter baskets or for Valentine's Day and I am sharing a couple of them.
Craft Project: Decorative Note Cards
Homemade note cards that are hand-decorated in addition to using your printer for a few basics, and make the envelopes to match. Wrap in packets of 8 or 10 and give them to teachers, friends, and co-workers.
Once every 5 years, I give only gifts that are home made. Since I crochet and knit and do plastic canvas, that's what it usually is. This year, I crocheted lapghans for everyone in the family.
Roll plarn into balls (I used 3) and place them into a clean and dry recycled 2 liter pop bottle (or other bottle). Add crochet hook(s).
Precious angels to add to gift package or make several and bring to your local hospital.
Craft: Romantic Pearls and Lace Candle
This is a prepoured candle in a glass candle holder decorated with lace, pearls, and flowers. I purchased the candle at the Dollar Tree. These would make a pretty Mother's Day gift, birthday gift, or would be beautiful for wedding favors, or centerpieces on the banquet table.
This is a money tree created for a 50th Surprise Birthday Party. It is constructed of a sassafras branch (dogwood works good as well), curling ribbon in various lengths tied onto the branches. I used a vase as tall as the branch and added sand and rocks for stability.
Craft Project: Black Tie Gift Bag
Dress a wedding gift in formal wear with this tuxedo-style bag, or use it for a special gift for that special man in your life.
Craft Gift Ideas for a Boyfriend
Can anyone give me some crafty ideas to surprise my boyfriend? I already made him a surprise that he loved, but I want some more ideas.
