For Mother's Day, I suggested that my grown kids not send me the usual flowers and such. I asked them to go pay one month of my cell phone coverage ($35.00) so that I can continue to talk daily.

Does anyone have good gift ideas (under $100) to give a mother who lives in a different state. She doesn't drive anymore, so dinner certificates are out because most of her friends don't drive either. She's not a hat person, so no hats for Mother's Day.

| Making Mother's Day Gift Baskets

I sell candles, votives and body products and would like to make up some baskets for Mother's Day, birthdays, etc. Can someone give me ideas, as to what to put in a basket? Do you only use baskets and where do you get them? Do you wrap them in cellophane?

For my mother last year I took a plain board (9" x 11") and sanded it smooth. Then I let my children pick 3 different colored craft paints that matched. I primed the board and gave it a base coat of one of their color picks.

| Clock for Mom's Birthday

 For my Mother's birthday I took a picture of each of my four children by the clock on my mantle. The hands on the clock were put on the date my children were born.
