Wedding Gift Ideas for the Couple Who Has Everything
What wedding gift can I get for a young relative that I barely know who is a millionaire and so is her fiance'? Nothing has been said about her being registered anywhere. Asking about that is not an option in this family, a very sore subject. I can't go into details about that.
For a unique wedding gift, gather kitchen tools or spices, put them in a small wicker basket, bowl, baking dish etc. and wrap the whole thing is a couple of tea towels. Make the bow out of another tea towel of a different color by wrapping around the gathered up corners and tying a knot; flare out the "ribbon" towels and attach a set of measuring spoons.
A Birthday Calendar as a Wedding Gift
Buy a calendar when an upcoming family wedding is announced and note birthdays and special family dates on it. It's a very welcoming gesture to the new family member, including them in on the "good stuff".
Gift for Both Bridal Shower and Wedding?
Is it customary to buy a gift for both the Bridal Shower and the wedding? Also, if so, do I get both gifts from the Bridal registry list?
A great idea for a memorable shower or wedding gift is a pretty, but blank, journal/diary and a nice pen. Write a note to the couple, instructing them to make an entry every night or first thing in the morning for every day of their honeymoon.
Calendar With Birthdays As Gift For Newlyweds
Calendar With Birthdays As Gift For Newlyweds. A very helpful Christmas gift for a young married couple is a calendar for the upcoming year with all of the birthdates and anniversaries of the members of the extended family on both sides filled in.
My husband's boss is getting married next month. My husband is the office manager and has worked for him for 4 years. We were invited to the shower (a couple's shower) and so have already bought a gift (over $100). The boss and his bride-to-be both come from wealthy families.
My nephew is getting married and I live on a limited income so I am looking for a poem about marriage to cross-stitch as a wedding gift. I want something that is more or less words of wisdom.
I am getting married in October. I have found so much about what a groom should buy his bride, but nothing about what a bride should buy her groom as a present.
I recently made a bridal gift but it could be used for a Christmas gift. I used a 3 ring binder and plastic page protectors. I put a recipe for each month of the year in the book. Some recipes were my own favorites or some were clipped from magazines.
Personalized Christmas Ornaments
I often buy white Christmas balls that have a pearly appreance after Christmas when they reduce the price. I keep paint pens and hand decorate them. I put holly leaves and berries on them and different captions like: Merry Christmas, NOEL, Let it Snow, etc.
My best friend is having her engagement party in September. I will be her Matron of Honor and need some ideas for a gift for them.
I was recently at a home decor store and found a beautiful standing wine rack (dark brown wicker with iron sides) for a great deal. I just had to get it for the price and would like to give it as a wedding gift, but I feel it needs something to go with it. Any suggestions? I thought maybe a wine opener and bottle of wine, but it doesn't sound too creative to me.
Gift Cards for Wedding Presents
My daughter is getting married in June and I just returned over $100 worth of items that she got as double presents. Considering that, I recommend giving gift cards or money to the bride and groom.
A good craft for kids gifts. You can also make wedding presents, housewarming presents, etc. An idea I came up with several years ago was to take a regular bath towel (the real nice thick ones are harder to use unless you have a heavy-duty sewing machine) and sew fabric along one end of it and make a matching hand towel and washrag to go with it.
Gifts for Housewarming, Wedding, etc.
Recently I saw the neatest idea at a store. For $40 you could buy this clear storage bin filled with a "starter kitchen". It had I believe: two skillets, spatulas, serving spoons, measuring cups and spoons, etc. I am sure it had more in it, but do not recall what all was in there. You could easily make your own gift similar to this. If you know far enough in advance, you could buy several things over a period of time and fill the bin with things a new kitchen would need. You could even go with a smaller bin and fill it with the smaller kitchen items. Tawnda
