Glaze Not Sticking to Candles?

What do I do when the glaze doesn't cover my candle? It seems to just drip right off. I use a dipping glaze.

make sure your bare hands arent touching it before dipping because the oil from your hands will stop adhersion. hold it by the wick

Glaze will not stick to any spot where your fingers touched.

Aztex Quick Dry Glaze has been given very good ratings. Maybe the brand you are using is not as good.
