Installing Radiant Heating Under a Bathroom Floor
We are looking at having radiant heating installed under our bathroom floor, in the floor joists to help heat our bathroom tile floor. We are told by our contractor this would solve our "cold bathroom" problem.

Laundry Soap and Greywater Systems
The concern that I would have now days with gray water from the laundry is that the soap has various chemicals in it that they didn't have maybe 20 or 30 yrs ago when it was more prevalent in using gray water for the garden. What are the effects that the new grey water will have on the plant growth and eventually on your body when you eat the food from the garden?

A Primer on Paint

According to the EPA, our indoor air is up to 3 times more polluted than our outdoor air and paints and finishes are among the biggest contributor. Just about all of us have a shelf in the basement or a cabinet in the garage containing paint cans leftover from past projects.
