Hair Dye Stained Gold Chain?

I almost never take off my gold chain link necklace. I recently dyed my hair and like an idiot, I didn't think to remove it then either. It has been about 2 weeks and I took the chain off and found that it had been stained by the dye.

How can I remove the dye from the chain? Please help.
