Hairballs After Cat Grooms Dog?

Our cat bathes our little dog every day. Our dog just gets up real close to the cat, and she seems to know what our dog wants. My question is, does this habit cause hairballs to form in our cat's stomach more?

Irrespective of the Cat grooming it's self or the Dog "hair is hair" your Veterinarian would be delighted to answer this question.
