Buy Halloween Candy After Halloween
I asked my husband last night, what is the best time to buy Halloween candy, and he said the day after Halloween. I had to laugh because that is "All Saints Day."

Freeze Leftover Holiday Chocolate
If you have too much chocolate left over from Easter and the kids lose interest or you want them to ease off, here's what you can do. You can cut it into little pieces and freeze it.

Send Halloween Candy to the Troops
Too much candy left from Halloween? My kids came up with an idea to swap their favorites with each other. They keep half and we send the other half to our troops. We have a niece in boot camp and our school sends shoe boxes overseas.

Saving Halloween Candy
Save any non-chocolate Halloween candy left over from your hand-outs or collected from what your children have received and will not eat. Place it into a self-seal plastic bag and put it in the freezer to save for next year. I have done this for the past few years and when the season rolls around each October, I'm all set. I've never had to purchase another bag of candy.

Donating Leftover Halloween Candy
Our orthodontist's office has a creative idea to turn your Halloween candy into cash! For each pound of candy that is brought to their office, Dr. Alvarez will pay $2.00. You get to keep $1.00 per pound and the other dollar per pound will be donated to the American Diabetes Association.

Buy Halloween Candy At The Last Minute
Buy Halloween Candy At The Last Minute. I usually wait until the day before or the day of Halloween to buy my Trick or Treat candy. My husband and I try to watch our diet since we are both a bit "fluffy". LOL! We love sweets so I always buy candy that we don't care for.

Chocolate Marshmallow Holiday Treats
A quick and easy snack/treat that you can customize for any time of year is MARSHMALLOWS. I just made a batch for my girls halloween party at school. Take some Popsicle sticks and place them in the marshmallows. Melt some chocolate. I used white chocolate chips and added food coloring to make them orange for pumpkins, green for Frankenstein, etc. You can use any color.
