Hamburger Soup

I use hamburger when I make stew, too. I am amazed when I mention hamburger stew to people, they can't figure out what I am talking about, and why I don't use stew meat(hamburger is cheaper.) My Mother did this too, that is where I learned to do it. The other day I had one lady even ask me if I crumble the hamburger up before putting it in the mixture. I sat here and thought no, I just put the whole lb. chunk in the way it is. lol. (08/21/2009)
