If you don't want to carry a purse or wallet, at the beach or even vacationing, roll up some cash and slip into a clean Chapstick type container. Then slip into your bag or pocket. You'll have easy money on you and no one will be the wiser! I also leave one in my car, just in case I need it!
Just make sure you step someplace quiet like in a bathroom stall to take it out, so nobody will learn your secret.
I personally will be keeping it on me as "back up" cash only if something should happen (picketpocket or losing a wallet).
