| Bathroom Accessory Color Advice

My bathroom has ashen tan walls with glass tile of burgundy, dark brown, and clear on the counters. I would like to add color that pops for my linens and accessories. What colors should I go with. I am thinking about aqua and burgundy. Help.

| Decorating with Navy Blue Accents

I have a beige couch with hints of red, navy blue, and yellow in the fabric. I have decided to go with navy blue as the main color in the room with slight touches of the others.
My dilemma, I am not sure how many items I should add in the room that are navy.

| Finish For Rusty Coat Hooks

I want to do my bedroom and bathroom with a western theme. I have bought some rusty old coat hooks that I want to use in the bathroom to hang towels on. What can I put on them to keep the rusty look and make sure the rust doesn't come off on the wet towels?

| Shadow-Box Coffee Tables

Shadow-box coffee tables are a great addition to any family room and are fairly cheap to purchase (even cheaper to make yourself). I like to display heirlooms such as our family bible, antique jewelry, old books, etc., which can be changed with the seasons. The Bible is too fragile for daily use but is a really special conversation piece whenever we have company.

| Decorating with Pine Cones

Collect pine cones from your yard or nearby park or woods. Dry out and place mounds of them in garage sale bowls around your home. They are simple and beautiful. For Christmas, I add a few dabs of white paint around the edges. The plain ones look fine all year through; especially on a coffee table. If desired, add a few drops of essential oil.

| Decor With A Vintage Camera Theme

After getting a hold of a couple vintage cameras, I've fallen in love. Now I'd like my new living room to resemble an old film studio. I'm going to hang photos (black and white/sepia) on the walls and put the cameras up on shelves. I also thought about painting some small boxes to look worn, and label them things like, "flash bulbs" and "film" etc.

| Reuse Plate Holder for Towels
|
 I wanted something different in my bathroom to hang my decorator towels on and I had an unused plate holder in the closet. It's very decorative in itself up with the towels draped over it in the bathroom, it's a new look. I didn't use it for plates anymore so it's getting a second use!

If you have a tabletop fountain, try adding a few drops of vanilla, or mint to the water. The aroma will soon fill the room. Experiment and use the scents you like best.

| Accessories to Put on the Coffee Table

|
I need some suggestions for what ornaments to put on my coffee table. I live in an old, small cottage which has old fashioned furniture. I'm not into flowery fabrics. I prefer the simple styles. My living area is just off the kitchen which has very light oak units. The walls in kitchen and living area are cream, sofa is beige.
