This is a tip for decorating a child's room. Instead of buying the typical pre-made wall art (princesses/cars), I picked up some of the giant coloring sheets and attached them to the wall
We need ideas on how to decorate a room that is going to be shared by a boy and a girl. Our son is 3 1/2 and is in to sports and our daughter is almost 1 and we're doing a princess theme. Unfortunately we just moved into a house that is smaller than our other house and they are having to share a room. I'm wanting to paint it in a way that matches both of their themes! Any ideas? We are on a budget too!
My granddaughters both have attic rooms. Both about 12 x 18 in size. They both have a window at one end and the entry door at the other end (both are on the 12 foot end). They are sort of long thin rooms with light coming from the only window on the end. I wanted to keep the white ceilings, we need that to keep the rooms brighter. But I am willing to paint designs on them or whatever.
Simple, timeless children's toys maintain a timeless appeal. The old Slinky now comes in a variety of colors and still entertains children. Hanging an image like this of a childhood favorite adds vibrancy to the child's room.
I just discovered an Anne Fitzgerald Dear God Figurine. Is there a collection of them and if so, where can I find them. My niece is pregnant and this would be a great gift.
Please help me decorate my grandson's bedroom. I am looking for a tool theme. I would like to find some coloring book pictures of carpenters tools to cut out, decorate and possibly laminate or something. Any ideas?
Run out of ideas to decorate your child's room? Here's my tip. Find out what is their favorite show or book and paint a mural on the wall in their room. Super easy.
