The house my husband and I are about to purchase has beautiful tile countertops and nice floors in the kitchen. The cabinets have been painted white though, and I'm not too crazy about it. Any suggestions on what to do to improve the kitchen?
I would like advice on countertop and wall colors for my kitchen. The cabinets are cognac, appliances and wood trim are cream (bisque). The floor and back-splash are Terra Cotta. I am considering black granite with cream and Terra Cotta colored marbling.
I want to decorate my kitchen and living room in the style popular in the 40s. I noticed that the curtains are normally of a floral print and have already done that.
I have travertine colored formica. It is honey colored with many shades of tan, a little white and a dash of gold in it. These colors are in my floor too. My walls are a cream color, my cabinets are white and my appliances are black.
For the past week I've been reading posts on how to paint countertops. At this point I'm not sure what color to paint my countertops. My cabinets are white and kitchen wall is yellow.
I need to update my kitchen and I do not want to replace the appliances. I currently have the old 70's dark walnut cabinets and doors have been painted white. What should I do with the cabinet doors? What is a good color to paint the walls? Thanks for all your help.
I am adding a modern Cherry wood eating table with chairs to a kitchen that has black laminated cabinets, the floor is marble tile mauve and white, with dark green marble border, and, stop, enough colors.
My range broke and I need to replace it. My kitchen has white cabinets and appliances. I do not want to purchase a white range because next year I plan to redo my kitchen most likely in dark wood. I was thinking bronze but I don't even know if it exists. Any suggestions?
