Garden Weather Vane Keeps Falling Over
I need an idea on where to place a weather vane. It is only a foot tall. It is not the kind that you put on your roof; it has a flat base. It falls over if I place it in the garden on the ground.

A plain front porch can be transformed into a place of serenity and beauty with just a few simple touches. I found an old ladder in a junk pile and leaned it into the corner by my front door. I hung a plastic bag of flowers on it and placed cheap flowers all around the porch to accent the ladder. Everyone that comes comments on the ladder! Sometimes I wrap silk ivy or fall-colored leaves around it. The possibilities are endless.
