How do you make the combination paint of Venetian bronze or the Tuscan bronze? I see these fixtures done in stores, but can't find the paint. I would like to paint some fixtures with this look. Please help! Thanks.
For the past week I've been reading posts on how to paint countertops. At this point I'm not sure what color to paint my countertops. My cabinets are white and kitchen wall is yellow.

I live in a mobile home and in my kitchen above my cabinets there is molding and it has a strip of gold/brass. It is very ugly and it is shiny. I am wanting to paint it. is there anything i need to do to it so the paint will hold? I do not want to paint the whole thing just the little strip to match my wall color. Thanks for your help.
Advice Needed: In the room that I want to paint red, wallpaper was put on without preparing the wall so we kilzed it but with a water based kilz. I have been told that I need to use an oil based primer. Can I use a latex paint after using an oil based primer?
I am going to paint dark panelling off white. I have the primer and a satin finish top coat, recommended by the paint man instead of a semi gloss. Has anyone used satin finish successfully?
I would like to faux paint a granite-like top on my older cultured marble sink top, sink included. Can you tell me what materials that I can use so that the end result will be glassy smooth, like granite and yet waterproof.
