Refinishing Hardwood Floors
My husband and I bought a home last year that was built in 1880. It was time to rip up the carpet to see what was underneath and there is a hard wood floor. It obviously needs a lot of work since they had glued linoleum tile on it years back.

Resealing Old Hardwood Floors
We discovered hardwood floors under our carpet, this is the original hardwood from when the house was built in the 50's so there is no polyurethane on it and no clear coating of any kind. Is there something we can use to make the floor look cleaner, shinier?

Squeaky Wood Floors
Locate which plank is squeaking and sprinkle some talcum powder in the cracks. Let it sit for a while so the talcum powder can work itself between the cracks.

We remove carpet from hardwood floors but the backing is really stuck on there, plus there is double face tape on it. Any ideas how to remove this.
