I am installing a new over the range microwave which says to use only 6 inch vent. The vent from the old range hood in the ceiling is smaller. Do I have to use 6 inch or can I use 6 inch out of microwave and convert to smaller to fit in ceiling opening?
How can I lower my "over the range microwave" without having to install new cabinets? I just got rid of an old combination range, microwave, vent (one piece that had the microwave under a 5 inch recirculating vent).
I just updated my kitchen countertops with black granite. Now my refrigerator looks so sad. What ideas are out there besides painting, to change the appearance of my frig?
I'm renovating my kitchen on a tight budget. I'm tired of the ugly old looking fridge that came with the house. I was going to go and buy all new appliances for my kitchen. Of course, I changed my mind. I'm glad I did.
The beige rusting range hood was looking rough and I just could not take it anymore. I did research to see what other people had done and decided to give it a whirl.
My DH (bless his heart), got a dishwasher for me from a friend, unfortunately, it is a built in. I need a portable one. Is there any possible way to convert this into a portable that I can roll up to my sink and hook the hose up to my faucet so I can use this? Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thank You in advance!
I need a new stove. It has to be electric. I hate cleaning under the 'snail' burners - so I am thinking about a solid top stove. I do a lot of canning. Anyone out there have any experience with canning on a solid top electric stove?
