Use Plastic Bakery Cake Covers for Paving Stones Molds
I save the plastic tops to store bought cakes; both the round ones and rectangular ones. They make great reusable molds for making paving stones.

Milk Can As A Mail Box
We used an old milk can for a letter box, which is often done, but for individuality, we painted it pink.

Decorating: Ceiling Fan Facelift
Giving Your Ceiling Fan a "Facelift" with Paint. My family is currently working on a house to get it ready for sale. We have gone room to room cleaning and doing updates as we go. We had a ceiling fan in one room that was totally out of place.

Using Masking Tape to Label Screws
When taking apart something that has a variety of screws, I use masking tape. Label the tape with what part the screws go to, then stick the screw right to the tape. No more lost screws or trying to figure out what screw goes where!

Replacing Canopy on a Lawn Swing
I have an old aluminum lawn swing which needed a new canopy. The cushions were easy to replace but I need a canopy. I went to a hardware store and bought a vinyl roll up shade (could be bamboo) and placed it over the top of the swing.

Use A Hair Dryer To Remove Contact Paper From Shelves
While cleaning out my pots and pans cabinet last week, I noticed that the contact paper was looking loose at the edges. I decided that I was going to pull it up and replace it. Well, the bottom shelf of the cabinet came out fine. However, the upper shelf did not. It ripped and tore and looked a mess! Believe me, when it said "Contact Paper", it meant CONTACT! That stuff was not budging!
