DE Pool Filter Tank Not Draining
I have an in-ground gunite pool. I have a DE filter. Despite having a relatively clean pool, I have to clean the filter almost every two months or so. Every time I clean, I release the air on the tank and when I remove the tank lid, the water is automatically drained.

Throw Patio Furniture in Pool for Quick Cleaning
A quick way to clean plastic patio furniture is to toss it into the pool for a few hours. This especially works good if the furniture is white. If you don't have a pool, mix up some chlorine a little stronger than a pool and spray it down generously.

Reuse Old Hammock as Under Deck Float Holder
Reuse an old hammock by stapling it with some slack in it to the underside of your deck. Makes and excellent holder for pool floats to keep the wind from blowing them away! Bonus: the floats can drain through the hammock so no mildew!

Pool Vacuum Not Filtering Water
The vacuum filter is putting back dirty water into the pool. Every time we vacuum the pool, within the minute even after we cleaned the filter out, the returning water from the filter is just as dirty as the water that was vacuumed out.

Pool Maintenance
We purchased a house with an in-ground pool. We had a large hole in the light niche fixed, but we are still seeing some water loss. What can be expected as far as normal evaporation? This is a 19000 gallon round pool, and the temps have been in the mid 80s.

Cleaning an Above Ground Pool
I have an Intex pool holding 3700 gallons. All the green algae collects on the bottom in clumps when I treat it. Then, I cannot get it up without it spreading into the water again. What can I do to finally get all the junk off the bottom?

Inexpensive Do-it-Yourself Pool Patios
We are on a hill and are afraid of cracking with concrete or pressed concrete, plus it is very expensive. Does anyone have any ideas on pool patios which are do-it-yourself and relatively inexpensive? Thanks
