applying Homemade Skin Brightening Microfoliant My sister-in-law is a makeup artist to the stars and often gives me wonderful gifts for my face. I have uneven hyper-pigmented skin on my cheekbones so she gave me some amazing microfoliant which worked brilliantly. When I ran out of it, I was bummed to find out it was over $50 for a small container of it. So now I make my own version.

Supplies:

1 Tbsp rice flour
2 tsp licorice root
1 Tbsp plus 2 tsp. milk

Steps:

Mix ingredients together in a small bowl, then mask onto your clean face. Rub in small circles then rinse with cool water.

You can use less liquid to make a mask, apply it, let dry, then massage it off with cool water. Both methods work great.
