Ice Builds Up Under KitchenAid Ice Bin?

closeup of bin and iceDoes anyone have any idea why the ice keeps building up under the ice bin in my KitchenAid side by side freezer door? I had to replaced the ice maker last year and the ice dispenser at the end of November. It now has a spring hanging out from the new expensive replacement. I hope they don't try to make me pay for another dispenser.

The repairman just keeps wanting to replace expensive parts. Which doesn't take care of the problem. The photo shows the ice under the bin.

Any help would be appreciated. Heat has to be getting in some where to melt ice.
