Identifying My Porcelain Doll?

I have a beautiful 24" baby doll with head, arms, and legs made of porcelain/bisque and a body made of fabric. The head, arms, and legs all swivel. The only marking I can find on the doll on back of the lower neck is "M B 1997" written in plain upper case print. It has short blond hair and could be either a boy or a girl - has very long eye lashes. The doll is quite heavy. I thought it was an older doll until I finally saw the 1997 marking way down low - almost covered by the cloth connecting the head to the body.

The only MB doll marking I could find online was for the Japanese Antique dolls and this is not an antique. He/she was wearing a white sailor suit which makes me think it may be a boy, but I don't know if the suit is original because actually I think it's too big for him. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!closeup of face

It is beautiful but I think the 1997 is the year it was made. In that case, it wouldnt be valuable. You could always take it to a dealer for his or her opinion
