Your doll appears to be in very good condition and that is a plus with a doll of this age.
I do not recognize the maker from the markings shown but that is not unusual as there are thousands of similar dolls but eBay has a doll discussion board and they have experts who over many years have probably seen most kinds of dolls. Be patient as it may take a day or so for answers.

Here is a link to the eBay board but you will have to upload photos and describe the doll (measurements, eyes). Ask questions if you have problems uploading your photos as the members are generally very helpful.

This looks like an antique doll to me. You could send these pictures to the Antiques Roadshow They are going on tour. You can apply to be on the show here:www.pbs.org/.../

I hope you are not terribly disappointed, but I believe this is a modern, hand-painted doll. Dollmaking is a beloved hobby to many and there are endless creative possibilities. The way I can tell is by the technique and look of her, and also those numbers on the back of her head. 1992 is the date that the doll's head was made.

I am a vintage doll lover and somewhat of a collector, myself. My now teenage daughter used to be obsessed with these dolls that are called "re-borns" that people make from a kit. Once all parts are assembled, they are meticulously hand painted with such craftsmanship in shading and highlights that they look exactly like real babies!

Another great way to research is to do a Google image search on your computer by uploading a picture. Google will then match it with other similar images and you can see where that takes you.

If you had hopes of selling her to make money, you probably would not make the amount you could if she were an antique. I would gather whatever information you get from the image search and then look up similar dolls on eBay to see how they are priced. If instead you were just interested in knowing her origins, I hope this answer was helpful to you. Good luck!
