1. Many times it is easier to adopt an animal of the opposite sex.
2. Female cats can be protective and also territorial.
3. You are going to have to work on this one slowly.
4. Normally getting the older cats and the baby cat use to each other smells helps a lot.
5. You can try rubbing something on the older cat and then introducing this to the baby cat.
6. Let the bay cat smell this and watch her reaction.
7. Now do the same to the older cat.
8. In time they will start playing with each other.
9. Maybe not so much the 7 year old, but maybe the 4 year old will start playing with the new baby.

10. Just try getting some toys and things for them to play with together.

Introducing kitten

Step 1
Give each cat a blanket with the kittens scent. They have to get used to each others scent.

Step 2
Give each cat plenty of attention.

Step 3
Give it time. Cats need to get used to each other.
