Is My Dog a Siberian Husky? - tan and white puppy Is my dog a Siberian Husky? My dad says it's a small version not a real one. I bought him thinking he was a pure bred Siberian Husky.

Definitely looks like one but you can get an at-home DNA kit to find out for sure.

Purebred dogs should have papers. You could have a DNA test for proof

Did you pay the price for a pure bred Siberian Husky? These puppies are usually expensive and you should have received papers or most likely, your puppy is not pure bred. Here are current prices for puppies:

Purchase from a pet shop $1400 to $1800
Licensed breeder/kennel $1300 to $1500
Neighborhood breeder $1500 to $1700
Husky rescue $150 to $350
Shelter $150ish
He is an adorable puppy but if you really want to know if he is pure bred you can get a DNA test done. These test kits cost $65-200 dollars and can be purchased at most pet stores, on-line (Amazon, eBay, Google search).

Sure looks like a Siberian Husky, and Oh boy is he ever cute!!! I would not care what he was, he is just absolutely adorable. :)

It certainly does look like a Siberian Husky. When you take it in to the vet to get its shots etc, ask I am sure they would be able to tell you.
