Help keep your freezer from running constantly by keeping it full. If you don't have food to fill it with, fill water bottles, or plastic juice containers with water and fill the empty spaces in the freezer with them. Leave at least 1 inch from the top, to allow for expansion.
Not only will your freezer run less, but you will have bottles of ice to put in your cooler, or lunch box. How cool is that? (no pun intended)
