Kenmore Refrigerator Ice Maker Isn't Making Ice

We emptied our Kenmore ice maker about two weeks ago and it still hasn't made any more ice. The water works fine and we have checked everything.

Kenmore Refrigerator Ice Maker Isn't Making Ice

We had this problem on our Kenmore side by side. The water line to the ice maker runs through the freezer and had frozen solid. We put everything in coolers and let the freezer/fridge defrost overnight, which did the trick, but there's supposed to be a way that you can fix the line without doing that. It's probably somewhere in the archives below. (11/12/2010)
