Kitchen Paint Colour Advice?

I am currently remodelling my kitchen with the following: white Shaker cabinets, dark island, dark hardwood floors, chrome hardware, super white granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. I need help with my wall colour and perhaps backsplash. I don't want the kitchen to look too white and boring.
