This is for all the people who love to read. A scrabble buddy of mine told me about it. I haven't actually done this since I have 2 daughters-in-law who share my reading tastes, so I pass my books to them.
A website I really appreciate is Jazz on the Tube: It has television clips of jazz performances from as early as the 60's, and a great search engine for videos of jazz artists. They have a daily email celebrating featured artists, with a video link, and short biography.
I 'subscribe' to two dictionary sites, Dictionary.com and M-W.com (Merriam-Webster) for a word of the day to be sent to me. Sometimes they are familiar, sometimes funny, sometimes impossible for me to say, etc. I occasionally pass them on for various reasons.

The site will tell you how to get through to a human and not a computer when calling them. If you click on the Phone Number directory tab, up comes hundreds of companies and their phone numbers and how to connect directly to a human.
Overseas Coupon Program - Sending Coupons to Troops Families
I read that we can send coupons to our service men and women overseas. I definitely want to do that. I need the address, etc. so I can do that and spread the word to my other friends. I am retired, so I have lots of time on my hands.

I am so excited! I just received an email notice from the Norfolk Botanical Gardens that the Eagle cam is now live again for the 2011 nesting season in Norfolk, Virginia.
