How and when did you get your pet?
Almost two years ago, a family friend was moving overseas and was unable to bring Little Feet, so I adopted Little Feet into my family.

What does your pet like to do for fun?
Little Feet enjoys whistling, singing, and talking non-stop (literally), sometimes you can make out short phrases like "I love you", "What are you doing", "How are you doing" and "Hello!"

Little Feet loves to hang out outside during the day while enjoying the fresh air and playing with hanging toys in the cage. Little Feet's favorite toy is a reflective mirror. Every time Little Feet plays with the reflective mirror, you often here "I love you", it is adorable.

Little Feet is great company, loves to roam freely around the house (when allowed), and goes on your shoulder often.

Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
Little Feet is a clever and determined bird. Very well behaved when indoors because it is a treat to be able to free roam in the house, very social type of bird and friendly.

Cockatiels make wonderful pets. I hand rear babies & I always get very attached to the wee ones. I must warn you though that having a bird outside can attract prey birds to the cage. These prey birds ie; hawks, blackbirds etc will harass the caged birds to death by landing on the cages & in the case of hawks & eagles will smash their beaks into the body of the pet birds.

I send this message in the kindest way possible but just be aware to have the bird out of site of wild birds when outside. Best wishes.

Yes, cockatiels make wonderful pets.

Thank you for your concern. I work from home so, I am able to monitor the cage which is in front of my desk. If I go somewhere I will bring the cage inside.

Neat name - sounds like a mutual love affair to me.
May you both share many happy years together.

Thank you Betty.

My family friend had a different name, but told me their usual routine and how Little Feet enjoys flying.

And, while allowing Little Feet to free roam, fly in the garage sometimes. One time I could not find Little Feet. But when I listened closely I could here the little feet noise hence that is how the name came :)

Ended up walking on cardboard boxes on a shelf but being extremely quiet.
